Okay, so there are obviously tons more themes that have been added to bbShowcase via, the theme selector, but has anyone posted about them? Is anyone willing to release any of them? Just wondering, since there are only a few topics with download links that still work.
Some themes that I'm interested in using are the buddypress, bbpress.org, and WPMimic themes. As of now, I haven't found a place I can download them. Any help with this would be appreciated.
I've added a download for WPMimic because the original author has disappeared.
I usually do not offer a download link if the original author still has it available on their own site, because the author may do some important updates/bug fixes to it.
If you find a theme that the original author has disappeared, let me know and I will make a copy available.
However, do NOT download themes from the site "bbpressthemes.net"
That site has taken all the themes from here and infected them with spam and other malware, so when people install those copies, their site starts spamming google and other search engines - and you'll never know it's happening.
Oh also, some of the newer themes that have appeared were designed under bbPress 1.0
I have made an emulator plugin that will allow those newer themes to work under 0.9 but I might not release it for awhile so I can improve it a bit.

Also, the bbPress.org 1.0 theme appears to be broken. I found 3 different CSS files within the contents.
The Onvertigo theme is broken as well.
Are you using bbPress 0.9 or 1.0?
Some of the older themes for 0.9 may not appear correctly on 1.0 and visa versa.

But for some reason they show up correctly here.

When you say here, if you mean bbshowcase, I am running a special plugin I wrote to display most of 1.0 themes. This site is running 0.9, not 1.0 which is why the 0.9 themes work properly.
0.9 themes should be fairly easily to modify to run on 1.0 - many of them should not need editing at all.
Have you released your plugin yet in order to use the 0.9 themes?
Sorry for the misunderstanding, I'll release a plugin for bbPress 0.9 to use 1.0 themes.
For bbPress 1.0 to use 0.9 themes should only require simple editing of the templates, nothing major.
Where is the download link for the FutureKind Wide theme? I clicked on the link on the "available themes" page, but it only goes to bbpress.org site. Would like to use it for my bbpress forum that I just installed. Thanks,
