    Finally, I got an answer to my problem on the official bbPress forum :
    Pretty Permalink type change gives me a 404 error

    I needed to add the following line :
    Options -MultiViews

    It is, as expected, a requirement due to my host : 1&1

    Now permalinks work perfectly!
