   Indicates previously read topics with new unread posts across most types of pages within bbPress. Features "mark all topics read".

   == Description ==

   This is not just "yet another" Show Unread Posts plugin.
   Builds on concepts by fel64 and henrybb with feature and performance improvements.
   No additional plugins or tables required. Produces no overhead for non-members and as little as possible otherwise.
   Users can be given a link to "mark all topics read" and you can adjust the number of topics to track to limit bloat.
   Topics with new posts can be customized via css styles, ie. bold, underline, colors, or even an icon.

   To see a demonstration, create an account at http://bbShowcase.org read some posts and wait for some replies.

   == Instructions ==

   Install, activate, optionally edit unread style and number of topics tracked per user within unread-posts.php
   If you'd like to give users the ability to "mark all topics read", simply place the following html in your template:
   <a href="?mark_all_topics_read">Mark all topics as read</a>

   hi !
   there is some bug .. when i do this : "$unread_posts['indicate_forums']=true; "
   the colour of unread stay even if i read all the forum ...

   and other things : the title of the page unread is <span class="unreadlogin>...etc

   ps : i'm french .. bad english :p

   Hello.

   Thank you for your (free) plugin.

   I have a few inquiries, which are probably due to my limited understanding. Please, bear with me.

   First, I cannot see any difference (after having activated the plugin of course) in between the state of the forum before the "Mark all topics as read" and afterwards.

   I've edited this in the plugin:
   

   $unread_posts['indicate_forums']=true;
   $unread_posts['indicate_last_login']=true;

   but also this:
   $unread_posts['use_row_class']=true;

   because I thought that if I want these two options to show $unread_posts['style']=.".unread_posts_row a {color:#0000AA;}"
.".unread_login_row a {color:#000080;}";

   then that was the way.

   Second, what should I do if I want to add an icon next to the forums/topics that have new content since the user's last login?

   And third, what exactly does "Update all topics read" do? I'm afraid that I fail to understand this as well.

   Hello again.

   I fixed my first issue. The colours that you've specified (Navy and 0000AA) where the same (or very close) to what I was using, so that's why I couldn't see the difference.

   The second and third questions though are still unresolved.

   This is what I've tried
   $unread_posts['style']=".unread_posts {color:#FF0000; padding-left: 10px; background: url(".$unread_posts['icons']."unread_posts.png) 1px 0px no-repeat;}"

   with no result.

   I've also tried this
   $unread_posts['style']=".unread_posts {color:#FF0000; padding-left: 10px; background: url(icons/unread_posts.png) 1px 0px no-repeat;}"

   and again no result.

   Any idea why?

   I used the plugin in a bbpress 0.9 and it worked fine with an icon.

   But when I upgrade in 1.0.2, the plugins doesn't work correctly.
   In the front-page, I see my title with this text in the browser :
   <span class="unread_posts">Vos avis et remarques</span>


   And the source of the page show :
   <span class="unread_posts">Vos avis et remarques</span>

   But in the forum page, the plugin works very fine and I can see :
   My topic with the good source code (and an star icon defined in the css) :
   <span class="unread_posts">My new Topic</span>


   Do you know where could it come from ?
