Importing to new forum... attachments?

I have decided to switch one of my bbPress forums over to the new Xenforo (from the original makers of vBulletin).

In order to do this, I will need to use vBulletin's import utility to bring all the posts into a vBulletin install, then into Xenforo (the latter only has one importer right now, and it only works with vBulletin).

I've been using ck's bbPress Attachments, and I'm wondering if it will be difficult to import the attachments into the vBulletin install.

ck: I realize you may have no idea if that will work, but thought I'd start by asking you first. Any idea if attachments can be imported into vBulletin?

I really don't know or care, wouldn't that be something you have to ask them?

It's a completely custom database format, a custom script would have to be written to convert it.

Pretty sure you will have to give up anything that's not in the main bbpress database, attachments, polls, subscriptions, etc. etc. etc.

This is a demo of the bbPress Signatures plugin!

Yeah, I just figured I'd ask you first. I don't have a vBulletin license, so I can't post tech support questions on their forum (a friend with a license is going to do the import for me, so I will ask him to post that question). On the off chance that there was some sort of attachment standard (obviously not), I thought I'd ask you since you wrote the plugin.

Thanks for answering. Attachments are really my only worry at this point.
