   Hi... I m using freshly baked cookies for blog n forum integration.. Earlier it worked remarkably fine but since I upgraded blog version from 2.7.1 to 2.8 and bbpress to 0.9.0.5... now it is not working....... any help ??

   Freshly Baked Cookies doesn't appear to work with WP 2.8, since WordPress changed how cookies work. More on that here:

   Someone posted a hack to get Freshly Baked Cookies working with WP 2.8 again, but it's not really confirmed/tested... if you don't have a backup of your 2.7.1 setup though, it may be your only shot at getting integration working again!

   I predicted this problem at the start of April (and they argued that I was wrong).

   WP developers simply do not give a darn anymore about backwards compatibility, they just want to do whatever they want to do. Personally I'm getting really tired of their attitude.

   Greetings,

   is there a chance to see an updated version of this plugin that will work with WP 3.0?

   I've been using the method of downgrading cookies to WP 2.5 but it seems that yet again they've changed something in the cookie jar for WP 3.0 and that hack is no longer working...

   I might look at it again after WP 3.1

   They just keep changing things too often.

   Also, I really dread having to install WP 3.

   I have now tested Freshly Baked Cookies with WP 3.0 and believe it or not, it works fine without modification.

   You just have to remember to change the cookie paths on the WP side (as well as bbPress side) and remember to change the cookie version in the plugin if you are upgrading from 2.7 or lower.
