    Hi everyone,
I launched a new product a few hours ago which automates the development of bbPress themes. It is likely to be highly buggy at this stage as it has had zero testing done on it.

If any of you try it, I'd love to hear how you find it. It is in very early testing stages at the moment and I promise to fix any bugs as quickly as possible.

The template generator is here (it also does WordPress themes):
    http://pixopoint.com/generator/?generator=on

And links to downloads for the various default themes are here:
    Basic blue bbPress theme

    Revolution generated bbPress theme

    Hellish Simplicity bbPress theme

    Aqua Vaccinium bbPress theme

    Yoghourt bbPress theme

All of the themes are designed to integrate 100% with WordPress themes exported from our template generator. When the two are integrated, the bbPress theme will automatically grab the header, sidebars etc. from WordPress so that you can 100% integrate the two of them.

I don't have a bbPress demonstration up and running yet. But I'll try to get one up and running by tomorrow.

I forgot to add that if you need support for the template generator, the best place to go is the PixoPoint support forums .

It seems there are quite a few bugs. I'm ironing them out right now, it will hopefully be working correctly within an hour (fingers crossed). I'll post back here once it's working.

Not working for me but sounds nice, it will probably be very popular.

If possible you should also make it generate the bbPress themes in standalone mode (without WordPress).

The themes already work in standalone mode. But when you call wp-blog-header.php the theme integrates itself into WordPress automatically.

I didn't realise how buggy this was until I posted this here. I should have ironed out the crinkles first

I think it is working okay now though. But I don't recommend using any of these themes in a live environment just yet as I can see lots of problems still. I'll get to work on it tomorrow and try and get it into a usable state along with a demo forum to see how they look before exporting them.

Sorry for the delays. We suffered a serious melt down of our system caused by an error by our web host. They've fixed it now and we're back up and running again http://pixopoint.com/web-host-failure/

I'll get to work on the bbPress theme generator and hopefully have it into a usable shape within the next day or two. Trying to correct the hosting issue has set us back quite a bit but this is near the top of my things todo list now.

    Ok. NOW it should work!

My demo installation has a few bugs in it, so temporarily I've put up a WordPress page which looks identical to the forum home page.

Here are some of the default themes:
    Revolution Generated
    Hellish Simplicity
    Aqua Vaccinium

And here is a link to the generator tool ... http://pixopoint.com/bbpress-demonstration/?generator=on

Hi, sounds great. Where do I subscribe for an email if things change with this thread? Did you know about 5 to 10 pixels seem hidden to the right of this post? (I can't see "post" and the question mark at the end of previous line, for instance.

So, one thing that frustrates me, is why does bbpress not think that email notification of replies is important? They seem to rely on RSS, but I think the vast majority of bulletin board users rely on emails.

Anyway, hope this project really takes off... sounds great!

eclipsenow, there's a subscribe to topic near the top of each topic

Can you give me a screenshot of the 10 hidden pixels? I don't see that in any browser I test.

bbPress doesn't have subscribe built in because it's complex and will get most people kicked off their shared host and/or blocked by anti-spam engines. Besides, for every feature one person thinks is important, another does not.

    Hi,
The 10 pixels seems to be on my browser when entering the text. It disappears after I hit send. It's when typing it in that it appears.
