For starters let me say that I know I broke this because it was working just fine a couple of days ago.

I am also modifying my theme and have run into a problem. And I don't know what.

I think I have lost the styling. I don't have the buttons anymore, instead I have the "words" where buttons should be, but no actual buttons and they are stacked on top of each other. I can however click on the words and it enters the code into the text area.

    What have I done?????

I look at the source and compare it to two other test BBpress sites that I have and they look the same...unless I am just missing something.

I am continuing to work on finding the problem, so I hope the url I give you will be displaying what I am talking about.

    Example,

    AHHHH Never mind,
Of course after racking my brain on this for a night and a day now I get it figured out about 20 minutes after I post here!!

I am "integrating" WP and BBpress. I DON'T KNOW, but I am assuming that the call for wp_head in the WP header was goofing something something up like the java. I am having bbpress and WP share header and footer files. It is working out great so far!

Once I moved that line from farther up in the header down to right above the close head tag IT WORKED.

See, I told you I knew I broke it

One more question about "the buttons".

Originally I had added a couple of color buttons. It worked great and I had the color of the buttons matching the color that the button represented....did that make sense? --- The "green" button was green.

I took them out though because I could not figure out this problem. When I hovered over the button it of course changed color like the rest of the buttons.

But it would not go back to it's original color - Green for example.

Any thought on how to make that button go back green when it's not being hovered on?

The problem with it going back to green is that I do not use regular CSS hover to change the color because IE does not support that (all other browsers would, which is a shame).

Since it's javascript changing the color, you'd have to either use a class or a style to record the orignal color you wanted and modify the javascript to check for the class or style before returning the color back.

    Thanks for the fast response.

I have a lot to learn and that is just not going to be on the top of my list.

But it is something that I will get to in the near future...possibly.

Thanks again for the fast response.
