Hi. I would like to be able to schedule a forum topic in bbPress to be published at a future date and time, in much the same way as I can schedule a WordPress post to be published at a scheduled time.

Has a plugin like this been developed? I've tried searching everywhere but perhaps I've used the wrong keywords?

If not, does anyone have any advice on hiring someone to develop a plugin like this?

Thanks very much in advance for any help.

    Nothing like that exists.

Would not be too hard to create, the topic would have to be saved with a status other than 0 or 1 or 2 (so use 3 or 4, etc.) and then some kind of pseudo-cron would check periodically if there are any topics with a status of that higher number and see if their timestamp has passed, and then change the status back to 0.

So, it's possible. I just have to find someone who will do it.
